Gamow-Teller strength functions in full (pf) spaces are calculated with sufficient accuracy to ensure that all the states in the resonance region have been populated. The temperature dependence of the energy centroids and strength distributions for Gamow-Teller (GT) 1+ excitations in several fp-shell nuclei is studied.
